About Us
Our Story
Founded in the heart of Denver's vibrant RiNo Arts District, Denver Comedy Lounge was born from a simple idea: comedy deserves a better room. We wanted to create a space that felt like a secret, an upscale date-night destination that just happened to feature world-class stand-up.
We moved away from the sticky floors and two-drink minimums of traditional clubs. Instead, we built an intimate room where every seat feels like the front row. The lighting is warm, the acoustics are perfect, and the atmosphere is electric. Whether you are celebrating an anniversary, catching a show with friends, or treating yourself to a solo night out, this is comedy the way it was meant to be experienced.
But what truly sets us apart is what's in your glass and on your plate. We realized that laughter pairs best with exceptional craft beverages and elevated bites, leading to a unique concept that Denver had never seen before.

Meet the Founder
Denver Comedy Lounge was created by Ben Kronberg, a nationally touring comedian whose credits include appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and Comedy Central. After performing in comedy clubs across the country for over a decade, Ben knew exactly what made a great comedy experience — and what most clubs got wrong.
His vision was simple: build the club he always wished existed. A venue where the sound was dialed in, the sightlines were perfect, and the food and drinks were worth the trip even without a show. Ben handpicks every lineup, balancing nationally touring headliners with the best emerging talent from Denver's thriving comedy scene.
The result is a comedy club that feels more like a members-only lounge — intimate, curated, and consistently delivering the best live comedy in Colorado.
The Sake Connection
We share our space with Colorado Sake Co., the state's premier craft sake brewery. This unique partnership allows us to offer an unparalleled beverage experience during our shows. Fresh, unpasteurized sake brewed on-site with Colorado mountain water and locally sourced rice — you cannot get this anywhere else in the country.
Forget watered-down well drinks. Here, you can enjoy flights of locally brewed, award-winning sake, crafted cocktails, sake seltzers, and cider — plus a curated menu of izakaya-style bites designed to complement the drinks and the show. Our bartenders are sake-certified and love guiding newcomers through their first tasting.
"It's the only place in the country where you can sip fresh, unpasteurized sake while watching national headliners."

The RiNo Experience
We are located at 3559 Larimer Street in the heart of Denver's River North (RiNo) Arts District — one of the most exciting neighborhoods in the city. RiNo is known for its street art, craft breweries, galleries, and vibrant nightlife, making it the perfect backdrop for a night of comedy.
Getting here: Free street parking is available on Larimer Street and surrounding blocks. Rideshare (Uber and Lyft) is highly recommended since we serve craft cocktails and sake. The 38th & Blake RTD light rail station is about a 15-minute walk away.
Make a night of it: Arrive early and explore the neighborhood. Grab pre-show drinks at one of RiNo's many craft breweries, browse the street murals along Larimer, then settle into your seat at Denver Comedy Lounge for an unforgettable evening of comedy, sake, and Japanese-inspired bites.
