Derrick Rush

Derrick Rush was born and raised in Memphis, TN. After serving in the Navy and traveling the world, he retired in 2009 and discovered a new calling: stand-up comedy. Now a regular at the world-famous Comedy Works in Denver, Derrick has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in comedy, including Dave Chappelle, Joey Diaz, Dana Gould, Darrell Hammond, Tony Rock, Karlous Miller, DC Young Fly, and Mike Epps.

Hailed by Westword as "a comedian everyone should look out for," Derrick is known for his captivating storytelling style and laid-back cadence that draws audiences in and keeps them engaged from start to finish. He has released two acclaimed comedy albums that showcase his gift for finding humor in life's most unique and unexpected moments.
