Drew Morgan
Drew Morgan is a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor from the hills of East Tennessee who has been described as "Mark Twain on acid." Raised by a preacher and a librarian in rural Appalachia, Drew brings a sharp, literary wit to his comedy that draws on a life lived across wildly different worlds — from small-town Tennessee to Africa, Australia, Miami, Boston, and New York City. A former lawyer who traded the courtroom for the stage, he is one-third of the wildly popular wellRED comedy tour alongside Trae Crowder and Corey Ryan Forrester, and co-author of the best-selling political humor book The Liberal Redneck Manifesto.
Drew's comedy blends Southern storytelling with progressive politics, skewering hypocrisy with the charm of someone who genuinely loves where he comes from. He has been featured on Comedy Central, MTV, and ABC's The View, and his Amazon Prime special "To My Future Kids, I'm Sorry" showcases his ability to turn personal reflection into uproarious stand-up. His award-winning podcasts — the wellRED Podcast and the Appalachian Gothic comedy podcast Into the Abiscuit — have been streamed over a million times.
Whether headlining solo or touring with the wellRED crew, Drew Morgan delivers a show that is equal parts hilarious and thought-provoking — a comedian who proves you can be proudly Southern and fiercely progressive at the same time. His growing presence on TikTok and appearances on Don't Tell Comedy have introduced his brand of smart, heartfelt comedy to an ever-widening audience.
