Jamie Shriner
Jamie Shriner is a Chicago-based comedian, writer, and actress who creates music-driven comedy that blends stand-up, storytelling, and original songs. A former theatre kid and current queer, deaf, and mentally ill gig-worker, she brings a uniquely authentic perspective to comedy, addressing themes like hearing loss, mental illness, body image, womanhood, and growing up queer in conservative Indiana. Known for her one-woman show Wife Material and her music comedy specials, Shriner's approach is unconventional and deeply personal—she was compared to artists like Bo Burnham and Jenna Marbles—and she has earned recognition including Best of Fest honors at Big Pine Comedy Festival.
