Known for his down-to-earth Midwest storytelling style combined with charm and quick wit, Sam's comedy draws from his small-town experiences and "Minnesota Nice" attitude colliding with the realities of the wider world to create whimsical and hilarious observations. He launched his comedy career through a grassroots college comedy show that earned two Northwest Emmy nominations, and has since become a regular at the world-famous Comedy Works in Denver, winning the 2025 Comedy Fort's Funniest Competition.

Halloween Comedy: Fright Night — 6 PM
Start your Halloween night with live stand-up comedy at Denver Comedy Lounge. We’ll be decking out our intimate 65-seat room for the occasion, with cocktails, craft sake, Japanese-inspired bites, and plenty of festive atmosphere. Costumes are highly encouraged—but never required—so come dressed to impress, amuse, or fright. It’s the perfect Halloween date night, with plenty of evening left after the show.

Keep Halloween going with our late-night stand-up comedy show. Expect edgier material, a looser atmosphere, and a crowd ready to finish the night with plenty of laughs. The lounge will be fully decorated for Halloween, with cocktails, craft sake, and Japanese-inspired bites available throughout the show. Costumes are highly encouraged—whether you’re creepy, clever, glamorous, or completely unhinged.
